Seminars & Workshops

In this day and age it is imperative that businesses prepare themselves for a diverse workforce.   The best way to do this is by having cutting age information available to educate people about our differences, what connects us, how people are oppressed in this country and what we can do about it.  It is not just the right thing to do for our humanity, but it also makes good business sense.  Studies show that businesses that have some form of diversity training have higher retention rates and are at a lower risk for discrimination law suits.

Change Agent Consulting has a plethora of opportunities to engage the business community in diversity, multicultural and anti-racism training.  Whether you want a full fledge seminar or a short presentation, CAC can assist you.  Opportunities include:

"Words like 'freedom', 'justice' and 'democracy' are not common concepts; on the contrary, they are rare. People are not born knowing what these are. It takes enormous, and above all, individual effort to arrive at the respect for other people that these words imply."
- James Baldwin

"We're all here in this world for some reason or another. If you're aware of injustice, you can either ignore it, say there is nothing you can do about it, complain about it and not do anything, or put your energies into doing something about it. And for me, the only thing that is a meaningful use of my life is to work to improve the quality of life for people who are disadvantaged. I don't believe that just because one person is born on one side of some imaginary line and another person is born on the other side means that a lot of people should be getting screwed through no fault of their own."
- Ben Cohen
